Theres nothing we love more than getting that festive feeling by lounging on the sofa, pampering ourselves, eating chocolate whilst watching Christmas movies. Theres so many out there, it can be hard to select one to watch, thats why we have put together our top 5 Christmas movies for you to enjoy.
1. The Grinch
On the outskirts snowy mountains of Whoville, lives a green, revenge-seeking Grinch who plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all of the town. However during his mischievous plans, one little girl helps him see the true meaning of Christmas. Played by the hilarious Jim Carrey, The Grinch is a classic we watch year in, year out and it actually never gets old. We also have came to the realisation, we have actually grown up to become, The Grinch! 🤣
2. Home Alone
This movie is a MUST when it comes to Christmas time. 8 year old Kevin McCallister has a bratty strop the night before his family Christmas trip to Paris, where his mother makes him sleep in the attic. The family leave for the holiday and forget to wake up Kevin, leaving him home alone for the duration, which is a dream come true, until 2 men try to burgle the house and he must protect the family home all by himself.
3. The Princess Switch
This movie is brand new to Netflix and an easy Christmas watch, especially when your chilling of a Sunday Morning.
Staring Vanessa Hudgens, one week before Christmas, a duchess who is set to marry a prince bumps into her doppelganger and decides to switch places to experience each others lives for a few days, during which they both fall in love.
Buddy is a human who crawled into Santa's sack as a toddlet and was taken to the North Pole where he was raised to adulthood among Santa's elves. Realising he doesn't fit in with the other elves, Buddy decides to venture to NYC in search of his real father. When finding his father, Christmas chaos begins and he ends up saving Christmas. This movie is pure hilarious and never ever gets old.
5. Four Christmases
Brad and Kate vacate away for Christmas every year to try and escape the mayhem of their families. However, when the plans for their exotic holiday fall apart and end up broadcasted on the local news, the couple have no choice but to spend Christmas visiting their 4 families. This film is filled with laughing, chaos and relatable to every crazy family at Christmas time. We love it!
